Duratears ointment is intended to prevent ocular dryness.

Instructions

This medicine is intended for external use only.

Wash your hands thoroughly. With the aid of a finger pull the lower eyelid slightly away from the eye to form a gap. Squeeze a thin strip of ointment from the tube (usually about l cm) into the gap. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.

To prevent contamination of the ointment, take care not to allow the mouth of the tube to come into contact with any surface including the finger and the eye itself.

Following use, wipe the mouth of the tube with a clean paper tissue and close the tube tightly.

Recommended dosage unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor:

Pull back the lower eyelid and spread a thin layer onto the eyelid (conjunctival sac), usually before bedtime.

Warnings

Do not use this medicine if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients.

Do not use this preparation when you are wearing contact lenses.
