Inotyol
Topical ointment for eczema, foot ulcers, mild burns and skin irritations such as: redness of the skin in babies (diaper rash), cold sores on the skin.
Active Ingredients
Each 100 grams of ointment contain:
- Ichthammol 1.474 gr
- Zinc oxide 14.763 gr
- Hamamelis extract 0.984 gr
- Siam benzoin 0.1 gr
- Titanium dioxide 5.905 gr
Indications
Therapeutic activity:
Ointment for treatment of skin irritations, sores and skin ulcers.
Inotyol ointment is intended for the local treatment of eczema, foot ulcers, mild burns and skin irritations, such as: skin redness in infants (diaper rash) and chilblains.
Instructions
Do not swallow; for external use only.
The usual dosage is generally to apply a thick layer of the ointment on the skin twice or 3 times daily.
Before applying the ointment make sure that the treated area is clean, dry and free of infection.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
If there is no improvement in your condition within a few days, refer to a doctor.
Warnings
Do not use Inotyol ointment if:
- You are sensitive (allergic) to the active ingredients or to any of the additional ingredients contained in the medicine.
- You suffer from skin inflammation accompanied by secretions or infection.
- Your child has suffered in the past from convulsions as a result of a fever or other causes (as the medicine contains terpene derivatives).
This medicine contains terpene derivatives which may (when taken in high doses) cause neurological disturbances such as: convulsions in infants and children.
Before treatment with Inotyol tell the doctor if you have either recently or in the past suffered from epilepsy.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult with a doctor or pharmacist before using the medicine.
If you are breastfeeding, it is recommended not to use this medicine and under no circumstances to apply the medicine to the breast area.
If you are taking, or have recently taken, other medicines, including non-prescription medicines or nutritional supplements, tell the doctor or pharmacist.
