Boric acid eye drops
Eye drops that indicated for mild disinfection of eyes and for easing slight itching caused by various agents such as: smoke, dust, plants, etc.

Composition: Boric Acid 1.9% w/v.
Indications
Boric acid eye drops is indicated for mild disinfection of eyes and to ease slight itching caused by various agents such as: smoke, dust, plants, etc...
Instructions
Do not swallow! This medicine is intended for ophthalmic use only.
Directions for use: Wash your hands thoroughly, tilt back your head or lie down on a bed and with the aid of a finger pull the lower eyelid away slightly from the eye. Instill the medicine into the gap, then keep your eyes closed for 1-2 minutes. Do not blink.
To prevent contamination of the eye drops, take care not to allow the tip of the bottle to come into contact with any surface, including the finger and the eye itself, and close the bottle tightly after use.
Recommended dosage unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor:
For eye wash and cleaning: as needed.
Consult your doctor before use in children under 6 years of age.
If there is no improvement in your condition within 3 days, stop treatment and consult your doctor.
Do not use this medicine for more than one month after the bottle is first opened.
Warnings
Do not use Boric acid eye drops if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients.
Do not use if the solution changes color or turns turbid.
Do not use this medicine frequently, or for a long period, without consulting a doctor.
The medicine contains the preservative Benzalkonium Chloride that can be absorbed by soft contact lenses. Do not use this medicine when soft contact lenses are inserted in your eyes. Remove contact lenses before using this medicine and reinsert into your eyes not less than 15 minutes after the use of the medicine.
If you are taking another drug concomitantly or if you have just finished treatment with another medicine, inform the attending doctor, in order to prevent hazards or lack of efficacy arising from drug interactions.
