Glycerin 2.35 g
Stearic Acid
Sodium Carbonate
Indications

Glycerin suppositories intended for relief of constipation.
Instructions
Do not swallow! This medicine is intended for external use only.
Remove the foil wrapper from the suppository.
The suppository may be moistened with a little water to aid in its insertion. Lie down on your side and push the suppository as deep as possible into the rectum with your finger. Wash your hands thoroughly.
Care should be taken to drink fluids during the day to help soften the stool.
The medicine usually takes between 15-60 minutes to act.
Dosage: Unless otherwise directed by the physician, the recommended dosage for Glycerin suppositories is: one suppository as needed.
If there is no improvement in your condition within one week, refer to your physician.
Warnings
Do not use this medicine if you are sensitive to any of its ingredients.
Do not use in the case of intestinal obstruction or chronic impaired function of the bowel.
Prolonged use may cause dependence on laxatives of this class. Do not use this medicine frequently, or for a long period, without consulting a doctor
Do not use in children under 6 years of age without consulting your physician.
This medicine is intended only for constipation that has lasted a number of days. Lack of bowel movement for a day or two does not justify use of this medicine.
In addition, do not use this medicine for other purposes, such as "cleansing the body" etc.
Do not use this medicine without consulting a doctor before starting treatment:
If you are pregnant, if you are suffering or have suffered in the past from impaired function of the heart, strong abdominal pain, rectal bleeding, symptoms of appendicitis (such as undiagnosed abdominal pain, nausea and vomiting).
