Active Ingredients

Each tablet contains: Bismuth Subsalicylate 262 mg

Indications

For relief of diarrhea, nausea, flatulence, abdominal cramps, upset stomach and indigestion.

Instructions

Do not chew! Swallow the medicine with water.

Unless otherwise directed by the physician, the recommended dosage is:

Adults: 2 tablets.

Children from 9-12 years of age: 1 tablet.

The dose should be repeated every half to one hour as required, up to a maximum of 7 doses in 24 hours.

Do not exceed the recommended dosage.

If there is no improvement in your condition within 2 days, or if the diarrhea is accompanied by high fever, refer to the physician.

Dosage for children under 3 years of age: only after consulting a physician.

In the case of diarrhea ingest large amounts of fluids, caffeine free, in order to compensate for the loss of fluids.

Warnings

Do not use this medicine if you are sensitive to one of its components in particular to aspirin and salicylates.

Do not use this medicine if you are suffering from an illness accompanied by fever such as flu or chickenpox (risk of Reye's Syndrome).

Do not start to use this medicine without first consulting your physician:

If you are pregnant.

If you suffer or have suffered in the past from impaired function of: the respiratory system (such as asthma), kidney/urinary system, digestive system (such as ulcer), blood system (such as coagulation, etc.), gout, dehydration (dry mouth, thirst and vertigo).

Do not drink wines or other alcoholic beverages while under treatment with this medicine.

Do not use this medicine frequently or for a prolonged period without consulting your physician.

Do not use this medicine for children or adolescents under 20 years of age suffering from influenza, chickenpox, or if they have fever or have lost large amounts of fluids.

Do not give to children or adolescents for treatment of organic nausea.
