What is head lice?

Head lice are bloodsucking parasites without wings, that feed on human blood. Head lice and lice-eggs prefer warm and dark places on the scalp. Therefore, they are often found behind the ears, along the hairline and in the neck. The colour of the lice can vary from sandy coloured to nearly black. After they have fed on blood they become dark red. The life cycle has three stages: eggs, nymphs and adults. The female louse attaches the eggs to the hair with a kind of glue, no more than 1mm from the scalp. The eggs take 7 to 10 days to hatch. The development from nymph to lice takes approximately 7 days. The adult female lice can then lay up to 10 eggs per day.

What is Resultz Stop?

Resultz Stop is a head lice shampoo that kills lice and their eggs in one treatment. Resultz Stop has proven its effectiveness through clinical studies done on children suffering from head lice. The shampoo is soft on the skin and hair, does not sting and has a neutral odour. The active ingredient in Resultz Stop is the natural Neem-extract, originating from the Neem tree. Resultz Stop is easy to use and works rapidly, in only 10 minutes.

How does Resultz Stop work?

Resultz Stop consists of a 100ml shampoo bottle, that contains the ingredient Neem-extract (10%). This extract ensures that the breathing apparatus of the lice is flooded, whereby the oxygen transportation is disrupted. The extract will also infiltrate the lice-eggs, thereby suffocating the lice-eggs. In this way Resultz Stop kills both the lice and lice-eggs in only one treatment.

How to use Resultz Stop?

Step 1: Apply Resultz Stop shampoo to dry hair. Remove the blue cap from the bottle and part the hair. Squeeze the bottle to apply the shampoo. Cover the scalp and all the hair with sufficient shampoo. It is recommended to use one bottle of Resultz Stop per person ( depending on the length of hair). Massage Resultz Stop shampoo well into the hair to cover all hair from the scalp to the tips and then leave it in for 10 minutes. If a number of family members have head lice you should try to treat them all on the same day with Resultz Stop in order to prevent new infestations.

Step 2: Rinse out the Resultz Stop shampoo. Rinse the shampoo from the hair thoroughly using lukewarm water. Avoid getting shampoo in the eyes, as like all other shampoo this can lead to irritation of the eyes. It is possible to wash the hair with a normal shampoo after treatment with Resultz Stop. To remove dead lice and dead lice-eggs after treatment, we recommend combing the hair with a fine-toothed comb.

Resultz Stop is suitable for adults and children from 2 years of age. No research has been done with Resultz Stop on children under the age of 2.

Resultz Stop can cause slight eye irritation like any shampoo. Avoid contact with eyes, in case of contact rinse eyes thoroughly with water.
