Sterile, thin hydrocolloid dressing, consisting of an inner (in contact with the wound) layer of hydrocolloids contained in an adhesive polymer matrix and an outer layer of polyurethane film. The dressing interacts with wound exudate, creating a moist environment around the wound that promotes wound healing, absorbs wound exudate, and promotes autolytic wound cleansing.
