Composition:

Tetrahydrozoline HCI 0.05%

Indications

Therapeutic group:

Belongs to the sympathomimetic decongestants group.

Therapeutic activity:

The medicine is intended for the relief of burning, itching, irritation and redness of the eyes caused by allergens and irritants, such as: smoke, dust, plants and exposure to the sun.

Instructions

Do not swallow! This medicine is intended for external use only.

Wash your hands thoroughly. Tilt your head backwards or lie down on a bed and with the help of your finger, slightly pull the lower eyelid away from the eye. Instill the medicine into the gap that has been formed and close your eyes for 1-2 minutes. Try not to blink. If you think the drop has not been absorbed, add an additional drop. Wipe the remaining solution around the eye with cleansing tissue.

Recommended dosage unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor:

1-2 drops in each eye, 2-3 times a day.

For use in children 3-12 years of age, consult a doctor.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

After using the drops, wait 5 minutes before applying contact lenses again.

If there is no improvement in your condition within 3 days, stop treatment and refer to a doctor.

Do not use the preparation after two months from opening the aluminum bag in which it is contained (even if you have not opened the container).

Discard the container after use, even if residue remains, since the product is free of preservative.  

Warnings

Do not use Stilla Singles if you have a known sensitivity to any of its ingredients.

Do not use this medicine in patients with glaucoma or with other severe eye diseases.

Do not use this medicine in children under 3 years of age.

Do not use if the solution has changed color or has become turbid.

Do not use the medicine without consulting a doctor before starting treatment if you are pregnant or breastfeeding or if you suffer, or have suffered in the past, from impaired function of the   heart and/or vascular system, eyes (e.g. glaucoma), thyroid gland, hypertension, diabetes.

Do not use this medicine frequently, or for a prolonged period, without consulting a doctor.

Do not use the preparation for more than 4 consecutive days; prolonged use for a period longer than this may increase redness of the eye.

If you are taking another medicine or if you have just finished treatment with another medicine, inform the attending doctor, in order to avoid risks or ineffectiveness caused by drug interactions, especially regarding monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) antidepressants (such as phenelzine) or other antidepressants.
