Hawthorne extract

Hawthorn extract contains flavonoids that affect vasodilation and particularly coronary arteries that nourish the heart muscle, improve circulation, allow the heart to be supplied with oxygen and other nutrients. The dilated blood vessels reduce pressure on the heart muscle. The active ingredients of hawthorn extract also affect the enzymes involved in energy metabolism within the heart muscle itself and have the ability to suppress free radical damage.
