Active Ingredients

Each lozenge contains: Benzydamine hydrochloride 3 mg.

Indications

Therapeutic group:

The active ingredient of the medicine is benzydamine, which is a local anti inflammatory agent (NSAID).

The medicine is intended for symptomatic local treatment of acute sore throat in adults and children above the age of 6 years.

Instructions

Manner of use:

Suck the lozenge and let it dissolve slowly in your mouth. Do not swallow, split or crush and do not chew.

The recommended dosage is usually:

Adults and children over the age of 6 years:

One lozenge 3 times per day. Do not take more than 3 lozenges per day.

Do not exceed the recommended dose.

Use in children:

In children aged 6-11 years, the medicine should be used under an adult’s supervision.

Do not use this medicine for more than 7 days.

If after using this medicine, the pain in your mouth or throat gets worse or does not improve within 3 days, or if you have fever or have other symptoms, you should consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Warnings

Do not use Rogaron if you are sensitive (allergic) to the active ingredient or to any of the other ingredients that this medicine contains.

Do not use this medicine if you suffer from a condition called phenylketonuria.

Do not use this medicine if you are sensitive (allergic) to salicylic acid or to other anti inflammatory painkillers of the non-steroidal anti inflammatory drug class (NSAIDs) such as ibuprofen.

Before you start taking Rogaron, tell your doctor if you have a history of asthma, if you have an intolerance to certain sugars.

Do not administer the medicine to children under the age of 6 years.

Do not use this medicine during pregnancy.

Do not use this medicine while breastfeeding.

If you are taking or have recently taken other medicines, including nonprescription medications and dietary supplements, tell your doctor or pharmacist.
