Resyl syrup
Syrup for relieving cough with mucus. The active ingredient expectorant and reduces mucus viscosity and allows it to be easily disposed off. Can be used for diseases such as bronchitis and asthma, which cause viscous phlegm.
Active Ingredients
Each measured teaspoon (5 ml) contains: Guaifenesin 100 mg.
Indications
Therapeutic activity:
Expectorant, for relief of cough.
Instructions
Recommended dosage unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor:
Adults: 1-2 teaspoons 4 times a day.
Do not exceed the recommended dosage.
If there is no improvement in your condition within 7 days, refer to the doctor.
Resyl syrup contains 5% alcohol and therefore is not recommended for children and teenagers.
If the cough is accompanied by fever, headache, sore throat or rash, refer to the doctor.
It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (tea, juice etc.) while under treatment with this medicine.
Warnings
Do not use Resyl syrupif you are sensitive to any of its ingredients or to similar derivatives.
Do not take this medicine without consulting a doctor before starting treatment:
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
Do not use this medicine for chronic cough like the type that appears with smoking, asthma or emphysema, or for a cough with excessive respiratory excretion.
If you are taking another drug concomitantly, or if you have just finished treatment with another medicine, inform the attending doctor, in order to prevent hazards or lack of efficacy arising from drug interactions. This is especially important for medicines belonging to the following groups: other cough and cold preparations.
